A slender from drifted into the Rose's galley. His tall form was marked by his delicate features, silver hair pulled back in a ponytail. His clothing seemed rough on him, not quite fitting his frame. His eyes glanced around the galley, taking in the equipment, tables and decorations. Cesta sat down with a drink, pulled out some papers and lifted his head to the ceiling, where Rose's speakers were most obvious. "Rose, could you please ask any crew that are available, if they could meet with me. I need to get information about current events." Cesta turned to his bag, pulled out a datapad and a stylus and began writing.

Will walks in, silently, his split hooves making a clipping sound on the solid floor. He reaches the view screen on the wall, and flips it on, scrolls through a few channels until he finds a "Current Events" news channel, before walking back towards the door.

Cesta watched the beastman walk into the galley. Counted the mechanic's steps as he turned on the tried set. As the horned one started to leave a small smile flickered at the corner of his mouth. "You know I didn't expect to see a caprigor as part of the crew, I noticed you don't carry the mark of Khaane or of the Warp undivided." Cesta's eyes followed the Caprigor's steps, "Especially since obviously you are a warrior, and have a gave child under your care. I suspect you wouldn't even have to bow to hold mastery over a band." Curiosity evident in his eyes.

Will snorts, and looks at the elf carefully, "You seem well versed in Beastman basics."

Cesta watched the caprigor for a moment, his eyes going dark as he remembers. "That is what happens when you are at war with them. Learn how they fight, how they organize and how they reproduce. Beastmen are difficult in the best of situations when you get a large group of them together. They are a million times worse when they are following a warp lord." Cesta's eyes glance up at Will, "But not all beastmen are like that, at least in my experience."

Will narrowed his eyes and gave the elf a measuring look before answering, "My people are used by the warp lords, and everyone else. We are good at what we do, and that is all anyone cares about. Warplord, human, corporation. It's all the same."

Cesta watched the beastman and nodded. "I understand, my people were also good at using others. Whether it was slavery, alliances or other means." He ran his hands across the books in front of them. "Evidently my ship was lost before the Final days, that are referenced in the texts. When I was here, we thought we could still win, there were several projects different craft worlds had started working on. When I went into the tube our homeworlds were still around, we never considered the craft worlds more than places for projects or religions and military orders." Cesta's tone shifted slightly and he seemed to look inward while listening to Will

The big beastman softens a bit as he remembers the snooty elf has just woken up to find out his people are all gone, "I can't say I know what that feels like, but I'm sorry. If you want to learn about the world around us, there are children educational programs in the ships library. You can find it on the view screen. Trouble learns that way. She'd probably be amenable to teaching you more basic things like slang, and culture. This ship has a pretty good catalogue of basics. Your an elf, so you will probably breeze through it pretty fast." Will then shows him how to use the view screen.

A smile crossed Cesta's face when the Beastman talked about Trouble. "I would enjoy that greatly. It seems for some reason it is harder for me to study as easily alone as I used to." Cesta's smile stayed in place, but his eyes became a little more grey when he looked up at Will. "My people are difficult, the relationship a slave and their master is always touchy and filled with a lot of baggage. For most free Altharin's, they believe without doubt in the words of the elders, the wraith bone and the military. However, when one is unfortunately caught up and is placed on the other side of that culture, the maggot ridden rot becomes more evident. I thank you for your empathy for my situation. I honestly don't know how I feel yet." Cesta watched intently as Will showed him how to operate the technology on the ship.

Will glances as the elf, and says, "Hmmm. Be careful of Trouble's advice. It's through the window of a very young beastman. Even when she means well, she'll be hot headed, and choose the most violence producing resolution. It's what kids always do." Will dials in the beginning of a basic history of the universe lesson, and sets up a small lesson plan. He omits mathematics, as the elf is probably already fine with that. He instead focuses on history, social sciences, and politics.

Another smile crosses Cesta's face. "Our children are more prone to be like that from what I can see. There was a time though, in my great great grand parents and older when violence wasn't even contemplated in the first response. The primary study was music, poetry, science, exploration and none of those required our violence." Cesta's eyes scan the room, resting back on Will as he unconsciously tugged at a collar that no longer exists around his neck. "I will definitely take the violence into consideration with your daughter. I also will try to restrain my normally haughty nature" A smirk crossed his face as he uttered those last words.

Will smiles, "Trouble will let you know if she disagrees with anything. That's in her nature as well."

Cesta's gaze swept the galley. "Speaking of Trouble, where is your eclectic daughter at?"

Damien walks into the galley, smoking his ever present cigarette. "Good day to you, gentlemen. I hope I am not interrupting anything?" He doesn't break stride as he heads over to get a cup of coffee.
